Free IT Training for NGOs: GuideStar India is the
Outreach Partner for NASSCOM Foundation's IT training programmes for NGOs in MS Office and Social Media, organised in partnership with Microsoft. 1565 participants from 988 NGOs in Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Orissa, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu underwent 4 days of intensive hands-on training. Soon we would be starting registration for workshops in Andhra Pradesh.

Software Donations from BiGTech: GuideStar India is happy to extend a special offer for getting software donations through NASSCOM Foundation’s BiGTech programme in partnership with TechSoup. BiGTech has so far donated software worth Rs12 crore across 27 states of India. Over 1600 NGOs are already registered under this programme. Currently their donation products come from Microsoft, BUSY accounting, Eagle teleconferencing, Bytes of Learning, SAP & Quick Heal Anti-virus.
NGOs registered with GuideStar India are put on a fast track registration under BiGTech! This essentially means that you do not have to go through their usual registration process as BiGTech will access your registration details and supporting documents from www.guidestarindia.org. All you need to do is fill in a very short form providing contact details of the person authorised to request for the software donations and provide answers in Yes/No to their eligibility criteria. In less than 10 minutes, your NGO could be registered with BiGTech!
